Will Stover is a San Diego native, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator. He has played guitar for more than 20 years and earned a Bachelor of Music degree from California State University San Marcos.
Music and recording
Will began with piano before making guitar his primary instrument. He played in bands through high school and college, and spent time at CSUSM recording music and learning to mix. He plays guitar with Ayanami and continues to write and record music of his own.
His musical interests include rock, metal, progressive music, funk, jazz, R&B, and soul. He teaches guitar, bass, piano, and ukulele, adapting lessons to a student’s interests, experience, and goals.
Teaching at The Rockademy
At The Rockademy in Solana Beach, Will teaches guitar and bass and coaches student bands. He helps students choose and shape songs, listen and communicate as a group, build confidence, and prepare for live performance.
Will’s teaching is student-centered and practical: students develop musical skills while learning how to contribute to an ensemble and feel ready to take the stage.
